Family Holidays in Turks & Caicos

Perhaps not an obvious choice for a family holiday in the Caribbean, Turks & Caicos is perhaps best known for its laid back nature and its amazing coral reef. If that isn’t enough to tempt you, add to that over 200 miles of white sandy beaches, crystal clear sea and a wonderful bird sanctuary, all on a relatively unspoilt and heavenly island.

Most of the hotels are based on the resort island of Providenciales which offers a vast range of experieces and lifestyles, from golf and diving to a casino and fine dining. The Turk & Caicos islands offer plenty for the budding historian too, with the ruins of the 18th Century battlement at Fort George Cay and the even older plantation house at Cheshire Hall well worth visiting during any family holiday on the Turks & Caicos islands.

As with any Caribbeam destination, the best time to take a family holiday on the Turk & Caicos islands are during the first few months of the year as from July to November the area is at risk as its Caribbean neighbours from tropical storms, heavy rain and hurricanes.
