With the increasing unreliability of the British weather coupled with the wealth of low-cost flight options it is little wonder that many family package holidays now take place in Europe.

For many years Spain was the traditional summer destination but now the choice is far wider and family holidaymakers have the freedom to choose packages or can tailor-make their own holiday itinerary by booking flights and accommodation separately.
