Perran Sands Haven Holiday Park, Newquay
The rolling dunes and the surfer's paradise that is Newquay is the home of Haven's Perran Sands Holiday Park, an action-packed choice for a park-based family holiday.
A holiday at Perran Sands includes entertainment passes and use of facilities including SplashZone, SportsZone and the Kids Clubs. The Family Sports activities include football, cricket and racket games and for a small extra charge guests can participate in a range of other exciting activities, from archery to climbing to pilates! The park includes a fully-equipped, manned swimming pool which is heated - an essential for any family holiday.
Three different Kids Clubs cater for children aged 1-4 years, 5-11 years and 12-16 years and offer a range of age-related activities, although the older club for teenagers only operates during the school holidays (late July to the end of August). A programe of daytime family-oriented activities runs daily and evening entertainment includes live bands and discos.
Food and drink is available from a range of outlets, with lunch and dinner available from the cafe. For those in self-catering accommodation who prefer to create something for themselves, on-site shopping includes a bakery, convenience store and off-licence.
Accommodation is available in a range of styles, including caravans, apartments and chalets, all available in varying grades. All grades are fully equipped in terms of the basics and increasing levels of comfort, equipment and space are included according to grade. Wheelchair accessible caravans are also available, as are luxury tents for those who prefer sleeping under canvas!
