Activities for the family at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel
The Jumeirah Beach Hotel is vey much a hotel for a luxury family holiday and as such there are plenty of activitie and facilities on offer for families of every age, starting with the Sinbad’s Kids Club catering for children aged between 5 and 12. The Sinbad Kids Club also caters for children between two and four years of age, but they must be accompanied by an adult and can only attend for a limited number of hours per day. For teens, The Hub features electronic games, a drum kit, mixing discs and more and like Sinbad is open from 8am until 10pm and is free of charge for guests.
A number of swimming pools are available, although some are for adults only. The main family pool has plenty of sun loungers available, with sun shades and towels readily available. Relax in the pool or soak up the sun and enjoy a complimentary lemonade ice lolly – brought directly to you by the pool attendant every couple of hours!
Wild Wadi Waterpark, with its incredible fast-flowing rides, is set within the complex and is just a few steps away from the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Entry is free to guests of Jumeirah Beach Hotel – get there as soon as it opens in the morning to enjoy queue-free rides as the park can get busy, especially on Fridays and Saturdays.

The most difficult aspect of dining at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel is in selecting where to eat! For a start, there are three fine dining restaurants and eleven taking a more informal approach, offering a truly international range of cuisines. For night owls there are bars to enjoy – hire a babysitter or take advantage of the kids club being open until 10pm for post-dinner drinks.
The Jumeirah Beach Hotel is very much a family-oriented hotel and families are welcomed and well-catered for in a number of the restaurants within the hotel, including the Dhow and Anchor and Beachcomber’s, with it’s own children’s play area, and Latitude, the hotel’s main buffet resturnt with a huge nightly variety of cooking stations.

The Jumeirah Beach Hotel is around 35 minutes from Dubai airport and sits alongside the Arabian Sea on 900m of private beach. With the array of restaurants and facilities within the hotel, there is barely any need to go anywhere else at all – but if you wish to, the centre of Dubai is a short taxi ride away with its incredible shops and attractions.
