Bahamas

A friendly collection of over 700 islands, the Bahamas cover over 100,000 square miles of ocean and offer something for everyone on a family holiday.

For family holidays they boast a fine array of activities so whether it’s adventure in the water or relaxation on one of the many sun-kissed beaches, a family holiday in the agreeable climate of the Bahamas could be just what you’re after.

Any family holiday to the Bahamas must include a visit to the astonishing Atlantis resort which is home to 14 acres of impressive water features including aquariums, waterfalls, lagoons, and underground grottos.

The Victorian architecture of Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas (and also known as Paradise Island) will make you feel right at home and the sheltered harbour has been beautifully preserved – a must-see for any visitor.

June to November is the hurricane season in the Bahamas, although this is of course entirely unpredicatable, whilst the rainy season is May to October.
