For some, the appeal of an All Inclusive family holiday has never been greater, offering a high degree of financial security to help minimise additional spending whilst enjoying the break.
Most resorts offering All Inclusive board basis offer a similar structure – obviously this will include breakfast, lunch and dinner from the ‘main’ restaurant (if there is a choice). For those resorts offering a range of restaurants, typically guests will be offered either an allowance or an entitlement to eat at one or more a la carte restaurants per stay. Crucially, the All Inclusive allowance will almost always include soft drinks and ice creams – in other words, the staple diet of many children on their family holiday!
For those rooms with a mini-bar this will usually stocked daily and the allowance will include local wines, beers and spirits for parents enjoying a beverage at the bar.
The All Inclusive package often includes activities too – Kids Clubs and some sports for example – although, as with the meal plan, it is always worth checking what the package actually does offer. The real attraction of All Inclusive board for many family holidays is that your children can go back for more or try something different if they didn’t like their first choice, without racking up a hefty bill at the end!
